چکیده
Summary To fully decipher the immunogenicity of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) Spike protein, it is essential to assess which part highly immunogenic in a systematic way. We generate linear epitope landscape protein by analyzing serum immunoglobulin G (IgG) response 1,051 disease 2019 (COVID-19) patients with peptide microarray. reveal two regions rich epitopes, i.e., C-terminal domain (CTD) and region close S2? cleavage site fusion peptide. Unexpectedly, we find that receptor binding (RBD) lacks epitope. number responsive peptides variable among correlates severity. Some are moderately associated severity clinical outcome. By immunizing mice, obtain linear-epitope-specific antibodies; however, no significant neutralizing activity against authentic virus observed for these antibodies. This will facilitate our understanding SARS-CoV-2-specific humoral responses might be useful vaccine refinement.

COVID-19: a hypothesis to prevent SARS-CoV-2 from entering respiratory cells
Coronaviruses (CoVs) are a group of viruses that induce infection in the respiratory and other systems in the human body. There are two coronaviruses that transmitted from animals to humans including severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) and the Middle East respiratory syndrome (MERS) (1). The novel coronavirus that appeared at first in Wuhan, China, in December 2019 was named as severe acut...

Coronaviruses, enveloped positive single-stranded RNA viruses, have become significant pathogens for humans and other vertebrates since the outbreak of SARS (severe acute respiratory syndrome) in 2002 in China. These viruses could infect the respiratory tract of humans and other animals. The outbreaks of SARS and MERS (Middle East respiratory syndrome), which Bats are thought to be the origin o...
متن کاملCHALLENGES OF LABORATORY SAMPLING AND DIAGNOSIS OF SARS-COV-2 VIRUS OF DISEASE (COVID-19)
Background & Aims: Given the prevalence of SARS-CoV-2 worldwide, it is essential to identify people infected with the virus and determine its different types to control the global outbreak of COVID-19. The results of the studies are controversial, so this study examines these diagnostic challenges, including the types of diagnostic methods, the type and time of sampling, and even the clinical c...
متن کاملThe Epitope Study on the SARS-CoV Nucleocapsid Protein
The nucleocapsid protein (N protein) has been found to be an antigenic protein in a number of coronaviruses. Whether the N protein in severe acute respiratory syndrome-associated coronavirus (SARS-CoV) is antigenic remains to be elucidated. Using Western blot and Enzyme-linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA), the recombinant N proteins and the synthesized peptides derived from the N protein were sc...
